Packing is a crucial part of any move. Our experienced, fully trained staff can take care of some or all of the packing for your move. We can pack everything for you from your precious glass and china to your garden tools. Should you opt for the Full Packing Service we will typically send a team of packers to your home prior to your move and they will pack all belongings and prepare all items for your move.
When packing clothes we suggest leaving the drawers full as it saves time for you and there will be fewer items to pack and unpack. With your hanging clothes we have rails which the removal men bring with them on the day. Every box is clearly labelled letting you know the contents and where it came from. When packing the boxes we use our own special white paper that we use to wrap your belongings. We can also order in special acid free paper for the more delicate items such as silver.
For paintings and mirrors we often use a combination of paper blankets and fabric blankets to ensure they are not damaged in anyway. We are also available to dismantle and reassemble wardrobes, we would just require notification when booking your removal.
Packing Materials
We offer quality packing materials at great rates. We have two sizes of boxes that are both double walled and very strong. The smaller of the two is best suited for protecting you glass and china and also used to pack heavy, small items such as books, records, tins, bottles, cutlery, heavy food items and heavy ornaments. Larger boxes should be used for lighter items such as clothing, light linen, shoes, bedding, toys, board games etc. You may also pack pots and pans in these cartons.
Along with boxes we also sell white packing paper, bubble-wrap, brown packing tape and various sizes of mattress covers along with sofa and chair covers.
